Even adults deserve a favorite blanket in which to cuddle and shut out the cares of the world! This beautiful and practical lace blanket is a perfect example of "moose lace", i.e. lace knitted in a large gauge in heavier yarn. The lace makes this blanket lighter in weight for its size.

A simple rectangular scarf to knit in a lacy reversible stitch. I made the one pictured here from a small amount of merino/silk handspun. With just a little over one ounce/200 yards of yarn I had remaining from another project, it makes a nice ascot-like neck scarf.

Allow 200 yards of lace or fingering weight yarn for 8" x 44" scarf, or desired width and length with yardage adjustment. 4 ¾ stitches/inch, size US 5 / 3.75 mm needles suggested.
