SHP1592 Waterlily Socks - Sivia Harding
Sinuous beaded cables and lace evoke romantic, lazy summer afternoons. The beading technique is very easy - just let pre-strung beads rest between stitches.
Suggested yarns: Any solid, semi-solid, or subtle handpainted sock yarn. This pattern is not suitable for self-patterning sock yarns.
The pattern requires 112 size 8/0 beads and some type of threader to string the beads. You will also need 2 - US 1/2.25 mm circular needles for knitting socks in the round.
Pattern includes full written instructions and charts.

A sock for all the generations of your family, this design features sinuous cables and a sculptural feel. They fit superbly! Sized for baby, women’s medium and large in sportweight yarn, and women’s medium in fingering weight yarn. Socks are worked top-down on two circular needles.
Baby’s size measures 5" from heel to end of toe, leg circumference
is 4-1/2". Women’s sized fit 8 (9)" leg circumference. Leg measures 6-1/2 (7)" from top of cuff to ankle.
Approximate yardage requirements: 120 (280, 320) yds for Baby (Women’s medium, Women’s large) in sportweight yarn, and 350 yds for Women’s medium in fingering weight yarn.

SHP1915 Hanging Garden Stole - Sivia Harding
The Hanging Garden Stole is designed for lace to fingering weight yarn and takes 1,200 yards of yarn for the length designated in the pattern (12 repeats of the main lace chart).
If a fingering weight yarn is used for the stole, fewer repeats of the lace chart may be required (and slightly less yarn, of course).
This pattern features a simple technique to add beads to the cast on and bind off rows. It requires 70 beads. I recommend either size 6/0 glass seed beads, or a novelty bead.
This pattern includes many useful hints and tips gleaned from the 2006 knitalong on the SiviaHardingKnits list.

Suggested beads: Size 6/0 seed beads. The pattern requires 76 beads, plus additional for yarn or bead tassels.
